Biography

I am a research assistant in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore, working with Jonathan Scarlett. My research interests are in the theoretical and algorithmic aspects of machine learning and optimization. I was in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Ph.D. program at Rice University from August 2022 to Dec 2023. I received an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Simon Fraser University in 2021 and a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh in 2019. I have been involved in research in spectral graph theory, algebraic structures, compressed sensing, group testing, multi-armed bandits, and decentralized optimization.
